The Ta'iala Youth Exchange Program strives to provide a transformative cultural and educational experience for Samoan youth living in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Samoa. Participants will engage in a two-week immersion experience designed to allow participants spaces to connect, learn and grow in their identity, land and culture.
Monetary & In-kind support for Samoan Students in the SF Bay Area to support both their academic & artistic goals.
Samoan Arts & Culture community workshops & performing arts program.
Career Technical Education (CTE) Youth entrepreneur program, geared to equip Pasefika youth with the baseline skills to start and operate a business. *Kicking off Summer of 2023, open to students in 7th - 12th grade.
Promoting wellness through health access & physical activity in our community while supporting the efforts of local entities offering resources to our community.
Collaborative efforts aimed to educate, assist & raise awareness of available resources & initiatives that impact our community.
We are excited to be representing the community as the current CO-CHAIR for San Mateo County's Behavior Health Pacific Islander Initiative. Although this is our first time as the Co-Chair, we have been part of the initiative since 2009. Meetings for the Pacific Islander Initiative will be held the first WEDNESDAY of every month 6pm - 7:30pm.
