Samoan Solutions is a local non profit organization, based in San Mateo County. We exist to help enhance the lives of our Pacific Islander Community in the San Francisco, Bay Area through a series of programs, services, collaborative efforts and our community space Le Maota. Join us for the 4th Annual JULY Nesian Night Market New location - same great vibes!
Join us for a fun evening of great food, merchandise & community!
Nesian Night Market is a FREE and family-friendly event organized by local non profit Samoan Solutions. This vibrant market showcases businesses owned by Nesian entrepreneurs, including those from Melanesian, Micronesian, and Polynesian ethnic backgrounds, offering a wonderful selection of merchandise, food, and services. DJ Joe King will be setting the island vibes & we'll have a wonderful selection of village resources & activities to connect with.
Special July Edition
July is particularly special at the Nesian Night Market, as we welcome youth entrepreneurs who either pitch or launch their businesses. For the last 5 weeks, they've been working on This marks the fourth year that Samoan Solutions has hosted the Nesian Night Markets, which take place once a month in June, July, and August, concluding with a Holiday Market in December.

You are invited to a community memorial event in honor of the life and legacy of Nani Wilson–a beloved mother, mentor, and make-it-happen captain. Nani dedicated over 45 years to community work. She organized and counseled youth, worked with unhoused women, and advocated for communities impacted by mental health stigma–always centering care, culture, and connection.
If you knew Nani, you know she could throw an event. Nobody brought people together quite like Nani. Her intention, creativity, and attention to detail transformed ordinary gatherings into meaningful and unforgettable experiences. In that same spirit, this Heal & Paint is a non-traditional memorial experience that invites community to paint in collective reflection and remembrance as we share space in love, grief, and storytelling.
This event also marks the public launch of the Nani Wilson Heartwork Fund, created to continue her legacy by supporting Pacific Islander-led and community-centered work. Proceeds from this event help launch the Fund and build a long-term endowment in her name.

Our mission to enhance the quality of life of Samoan/Pasefika people in the San Francisco Bay Area. We aim to:
Build strong relationships between our people & local community organizations
Promote awareness amongst our people of the human & social services available
Maintain Fa'a Samoa as a teaching tool & means of uniting the Samoan people through Arts, cultural, educational and community building events.
All in hopes of preparing our community for future success.

Our vision is two fold. In the San Francisco Bay Area, Samoan Solutions will have:
United the Samoan people across social & geographical boundaries by teaching and maintaining Fa'a Samoa, and
Ensured that the Samoan people are aware of social & human services that they require to be healthy and contributing members in their respective communities by bridging together the Samoan people with appropriate community entities that confer such services.

Samoan Solutions is currently a volunteer-run organization based in San Mateo County, CA with members from local cities including: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Daly City, San Jose and beyond. We are committed to taking an active role in contributing to the betterment of our people. This group started off as an idea to sponsor a single event and has developed into an effort to establish a lasting impact on our Samoan/Pasefika community.

2024 was a groundbreaking year for Samoan Solutions as we continued to strengthen partnerships, launched our Ta'iala Youth Exchange Program - the first exchange program of its kind & the Aganu'u Community Teach-In Series. Check out all the wonderful ways we enjoyed serving in 2024.
